APPLIANCES
EXPANDERS
We offer orthodontic devices like palatal expanders and holding arches to correct developmental problems. Early treatment can regulate the width of the upper and lower dental arches, gain space for permanent teeth, reduce the likelihood of impacted permanent teeth, and correct oral habits such as thumb sucking.
RETAINERS
A retainer is a custom-made orthodontic appliance used to keep teeth in place after your orthodontic treatment is completed. The retainers are individually designed to prevent teeth from reverting to their original positions. Retainers are available as removable appliances or a fixed wire bonded behind your front teeth.
ELASTICS
During your orthodontic treatment elastics or Forsus springs may be necessary to correct your bite into the ideal position. Elastics come in varying sizes and strengths. In certain circumstances Forsus springs are required, these are fixed onto the wires and bands to align your teeth and jaw at the same time.
DIGITAL OFFICE
Our office is equipped with the latest technologies which make dental visits more efficient, comfortable and pleasant. We provide highly accurate digital 3D impressions using an iTero scanner and can print 3D models to make appliances. Digital photographs and radiographs deliver precise imagery. We also use a Cloud based computer software that offers paperless charts and online communication.
COLOUR ON BRACES
Regardless of the type of braces that you have, the colours appear mainly on the elastic ties or ligatures that bind the wires to the brackets. We also use connected ligatures to close space between teeth. The elastic ties or ligature colour can be chosen by the patient and changed at every visit. We have a wide range of colours available, including those that are less noticeable.
AT HOME SERVICES
We offer a variety of at home services for all of your oral health needs, including free Virtual Care that allows us to track your progress and stay connected with our office.
